The competition was fierce, with several teams from various schools in St. Croix and St. Thomas participating. The St. Croix SDA School’s team impressed the judges with their in-depth legal knowledge, effective presentation skills, and critical thinking abilities. It’s the first time in the last ten years the school has achieved that feat and the principal Ms. Berthier expressed pride in their accomplishment.

The team had been preparing for the competition for months, working closely with their teacher coach and two attorney coaches to hone their skills and develop their arguments. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they advanced through the rounds and ultimately secured the first runner-up position in the competition.

The outstanding orator from the St. Croix SDA School team also received recognition for his exceptional performance during the competition. His ability to articulate complex legal arguments and respond to questions from the bench with confidence and clarity was impressive.
