The North Caribbean Conference (NCC) of Seventh-day Adventists (SDA) announced that, as of September 1, 2018, Pastor Timothy Leito has been employed as a ministerial intern.

The Administration assigned him to be the ministerial intern in St. Croix, District #2 (Central and Hope SDA Churches). While the details of his assignment are being processed, he will temporarily serve St. Maarten, District #2 (Philipsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church), under the supervision of Pastor Vashni Cuvalay.

Pastor Leito graduated from the University of the Southern Caribbean in July, 2018, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry. While attending university, he served in the Adventist Youth Society, Master Guides, praise team as well as the Church Director and Chaplain for the French Club. He is credited for orchestrating a successful French Week of Prayer with Pastor Tony Gélie as the guest speaker.

He is a proud son of the Cole Bay SDA Church where he gave dedicated service to God and the church. He served with the Pathfinders, Adventist Youth Society, Communication Department, choir, praise team, and Sabbath School as a young adult discussion leader.

Pastor Leito is dedicated and passionate about the salvation of souls. He is a team player and a wonderful Christian. I had the opportunity to be his pastor and to assist in mentoring him for ministry. His desire for God and spiritual things were nurtured in him from his youth. We expect him to make a wonderful contribution to ministry wherever he is called.

We welcome him to the Adventist Pastoral Ministry in the North Caribbean Conference and pray that God would grant him the empowerment needed for effective ministry.
