NCC OFFICE | ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The North Caribbean Conference is seeking a dedicated, organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our office team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, manage communications, coordinate appointments and facilitate daily office operations in a dynamic and confidential work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing communications, including answering and routing calls, greeting visitors and handling correspondence in a professional manner.
  2. Schedule appointments, organize meetings, manage calendars and prepare meeting minutes and reports for administration.
  3. Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems and prepare documents, memos, letters and presentations for the department.
  4. Order office supplies, monitor inventory and manage office equipment.
  5. Provide comprehensive support to administrative staff and team members; assist in the coordination of internal and external events and special projects.
  6. Implement and improve administrative procedures; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required.
  2. Several years of experience in an office or administrative role supporting multiple departments.
  3. Confident with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and handle multiple projects efficiently.
  6. Professional demeanor, sound judgment and commitment to ethical standards; ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  7. Flexibility to occasionally work overtime during busy periods or special projects.
