Mrs. Gerene Joseph

Education Director and Prayer Ministries Coordinator

Mrs. Gerene Joseph is a native of Antigua and Barbuda who now resides in the United States Virgin Islands.  She holds a master’s degree in education from Andrews University and is presently pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership at the University of the Virgin Islands. An educator for over 35 years, she currently serves the North Caribbean Conference as its Education Director, as well as Prayer Ministries Coordinator. In addition, from 2007-2013, Mrs Joseph served the North Caribbean Conference as its Women and Children’s Ministries Director.  She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of the Southern Caribbean.  

Mrs. Joseph, who is a poet, a musician, and a composer, recently published her first title, “Questions from Jesus the Master Teacher: An Integration of Faith and Learning”.  She is also a regular contributor to the General Conference Women’s Devotional book.

She is married to Elder Roosevelt Sylvester Joseph, an instructor at Career and Technical Education Centre (CTEC) on St. Croix, and their union has produced two children, Sylene, who is a cost accountant at Orlando International Airport and Sylvester Jr. who is a First Officer at Jet Blue Airlines. Mrs. Joseph’s motto is, “For the child of God excellence is not an option but an obligation” and her favourite bible text is Zechariah 4:6 which states “not by might nor by power but by my spirit saith the LORD of host”.

Danny M. Philip

Health, Stewardship, Trust Services, and Spirit of Prophecy Director

Danny M. Philip is delighted to serve you as the Director responsible for Stewardship Ministries, Plan Giving and Trust Services Ministries, Spirit of Prophecy, and Health Ministries within the North Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Dr. Philip’s mantra is “Putting People First,” and his focus is to help others live with the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ, empower disciples through leadership development, and help them find emotional wholeness. His personal vision statement is to live by values and make life better for others. The values that guide his life form the acronym “IRIEE” with two Es – integrity, respect for others, innovation, empowering others, and ethical leadership.

His wife, Kiene Ann Philip, is an educator. She serves as the Librarian/Media Specialist at the St. Croix Seventh-day Adventist School. Our son Jachin is a teenager in High School.

He studied Theology at Caribbean Union College, now the University of the Southern Caribbean. Subsequently, he read for a Graduate Certificate in Creative and Change Leadership from Buffalo State University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Argosy University. He holds a Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change at the University of the Virgin Islands.

Pastor Philip a native of Antigua and is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has served in the Guyana Conference, the St. Lucía Mission, and the North Caribbean Conference. He has served as a District Pastor, Youth, Chaplaincy, and Health Ministries Director at St. Lucia Mission and the North Caribbean Conference. Currently, he serves as the Director responsible for Stewardship Ministries, Trust Services and Plan Giving Ministries, Spirit of Prophecy, and Health Ministries of the North Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His greatest passion is to help members to live with the assurance of salvation in Jesus Christ

Leriano R. J. Webster

Youth, PCM, Chaplaincy, Communication Director

Pastor Leriano Webster is from the beautiful island of Anguilla. He is married to the lovely Jerriece Fleming who serves as an administrative assistant at the North Caribbean Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists Church. This union has been blessed with a charming princess Lurnyah Webster who currents St. Croix SDA School. Pastor Webster became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church during an evangelistic series conducted by Pastor Hesketh Matthew on Anguilla in July 2004. As he grew in his faith, he became more involved in the work of the church and developed a great appreciation in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with his family and friends. From a very tender age Pastor Webster’s desire was to become a lawyer. Nevertheless, after becoming a Seventh-day Adventist Christian, he felt God’s calling upon his life and as a result, he decided that he would become a minister of the Gospel. In 2009, he attended the University of the Southern Caribbean in Trinidad and culminated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in theology. Furthermore, on Sept 1, 2013, Pastor Webster, joined the ministerial fraternity of the North Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. In 2020, he is completed a Master of Arts in Pastor Theology with an emphasis in leadership and administration from the InterAmerican Division Theological Seminary. In August 2021, he was ordained as a minister of the Seventh-day Adventist in Church. At the 14th quadrennial session of the North Caribbean Conference, he was elected to serve as the Youth, Chaplaincy, Public Campus Ministries and Communicator Director. Pastor Webster is a powerful pastor, poetic preacher, vibrant leader, and faithful father. He believes that the task ahead of him is not as great as the force behind him- Christ Jesus.

Linda A. Ambrose

Women, Children, & Possibility Ministries Director

\]Linda A. Ambrose, a remarkable woman driven by creativity, compassion, and unwavering commitment, serves as the Director of Women, Children, & Possibility Ministries in the North Caribbean Conference. Her degrees in Administration & Leadership in Adventist institutions and a rich background in teaching speak to who she is today.

In her early years, Linda cultivated a deep love for education and a passion for nurturing young minds. Her journey began as a devoted teacher, where she discovered her true calling – to create a safe and inspiring environment for children to flourish. Through her years of teaching, she not only imparted knowledge but also encouraged her students to recognize and embrace their full potential.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda has always found joy and fulfillment in her role as a mother and wife. As the proud mother of three adults, she understands the nuances of balancing family life and ministry. With her supportive husband, Pastor Wynfield Ambrose, by her side, Linda has embraced the call to team ministry for more than 34 years. Together, they have forged a remarkable partnership that exemplifies love, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to uplifting their community.

Through her dedication to serving women and children, she continues to inspire and uplift all those she encounters. With a heart brimming with love and a vision fueled by her unwavering commitment, Linda is shaping a future where possibilities are endless, and every individual is empowered to thrive.

Delia King

Auditor Director

Delia King, a committed Auditor at the North Caribbean Conference, possesses a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. Her goal is to enhance the operations of churches, schools, and coordinating councils through responsible stewardship of finances and other assets. When not immersed in financial statements and documents, she finds relaxation in basking under the sun at the beach or embarking on invigorating hikes. Sis King treasures quiet moments with a book and cherishes time spent with family and close friends.

Sis King has a deep-seated devotion to her church, nurturing growth and building community, particularly among children, and making a positive impact in the lives of those around her. She is married to her heartthrob, Mr. Raphie King, known for making the best fruit juices on the planet. Sis King deeply values his unwavering love and support throughout life’s journey.

She draws inspiration from Proverbs 3:5-6: ‘Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.’ Her heartfelt prayer is: ‘Lord, help us to be faithful stewards of the resources You have entrusted to us. Use us, our skills, and talents for Your glory. Amen.’”

Gordon Cross

Ministerial Assocation & Family Ministries Director

Pastor Glendon G. Cross has been in pastoral ministry with the North Caribbean Conference for almost 35 years. He and his wife, Claudette, have been married nearly 39 years. Together they have two adult daughters, whom he credits for keeping him authentic in his ministry to young people.

Relatively recently, God has enabled him to articulate what he believes is God’s assigned mission for his life – “Making Friends in Time For Eternity.”

He received the Bachelor of Arts degree, Pre-Seminary in 1985 from Andrews University. He went on to the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, also located in Berrien Springs, Michigan, from which he graduated with the Master of Divinity degree, in 1988.

Prior to becoming a departmental director, Pastor Cross moved through the Conference to serve in seven (7) pastoral districts over a period of 33 years.

He has endeavored to encourage the leaders and members of the congregations where he has ministered to develop a closer relationship with God and to empower them to serve God and their church to the best of their abilities. He has a passion for giving God our best.

At the 14th Quadrennial Session of the North Caribbean Conference, August 17-19, 2022, Pastor Cross was elected to serve as the Ministerial Secretary and Family Ministries Director of the Conference, subsequently he was asked to also serve as the Publishing Ministries Director.

Throughout his tenure of ministry with NCC two constants featured – his and his wife’s emphasis on ministry to young people and their passion for and engagement with Adventist Christian education.

He continues to be thoroughly excited about what God has purposed to accomplish in the world through the lives and ministry of Seventh-day Adventist young people and he rejoices that he has been granted the opportunity and privilege to be a part of God’s move to impact the world for eternity through the lives of these young people.

Pastor Cross is an adventurer at heart, though he may not have a lot of time to pursue his passions. He is an outdoor enthusiast, an amateur photographer, and an avid gardener. He also loves snorkeling.

He is grateful for what God has done in his life and prays that his life and ministry will help all to fix their eyes on Jesus and heaven and the earth made new at last.
